     Doing some research on different engines? What is the overall preference? 428 CJ VS 428 PI? Sorry if this topic was discussed before. Steve

The carburetors, air cleaners, intakes, heads, crankshafts, connecting rods are all different. Generally speaking the Cobra Jet is the high performance version of the standard 428 (police interceptor)

x2..... The CJ is big brother in performance. The PI is no slouch but no match for big brother either in stock form. :-\
