Your best bet will lie with finding whoever did the original assembly work. When the continuation cars started it was illegal for SA to produce a turn key car that did not meet current safety and emissions laws. So there was a process where SA built the roller and then it was sent to a final assembler to install the drive train. Sometimes these "assemblers" were next door and only separate on the paperwork. In 2015 the feds created a law allowing a manufacturer to build up to 325 cars per year that replicated a 25+ year old car.

Parts For Sale / C5ZF-E Autolite 4100
Last post by Snydly289 - November 04, 2026, 05:24:33 PMFor sale is a C5ZF-E 65 Mustang Autolite 4100 4 barrel carburetor for a 3/4 speed car. Also correct for a Falcon, Fairlane, Comet, Cyclone and Torino.
Carburetor was rebuilt by a previous owner and then ran on his car, I picked up this carb for my 65 only to remember I already had a C5ZF-E carb on the shelf for it. Carb has been painted, does not have it's original finish.
Has the correct CS primary booster (used on cars made after 10/16/1964, prior to 10/16/1964, the CF booster was used) and A secondary booster.
Per Bob Mannels Small Block V8 book, this is correct for a PCV valve car, but will also work with a road draft tube set up.
Carb is missing the choke lever that goes up the side of the carb to the choke flap, and the threads at the base of the choke where the heat tube threads on are a little buggered up (see pics). Everything moves freely.
Asking $375 plus shipping.

I was hoping that someone could help in providing the missing details about this car.

Long Island Region SAAC / Car Show by Retromobile at the...
Last post by computerworks - November 04, 2026, 04:32:03 PMSAAC Member Rick Zappia and his 1967 GT 500 was invited to display at the upcoming Car Show by Retromobile at The Jacob Javits Center in N.Y.C.
This organization has been putting on high end shows in Paris, France for 50 years.
Now they have moved to the U.S. and this is the first Show here in the States.
The Show is from November 19th through the 22nd.
There will be a Car Auction, New Car Show, and a Classic Car display.
