Looking to determine a correct detail for the metal engine tag on a 351W. The car is a 1969 Shelby GT 350 automatic with air conditioning. The build date for the car is January 13, 1969. I want to determine if the metal engine tag should go between the passenger side head and the coil bracket "or" between the coil bracket and under the bolt head? The pictures I have been able to find show the tag sticking pretty much straight up.

Looking for information and/or a source for the thin metal plate underneath the console cover. Based on pictures I can find the fog light and interior light switches fit through this plate and the two(2) circuit breakers are secured to this plate. There appears to be a right angle bend in the metal on the end closest to the ash tray opening in the console top. I did not realize this part was missing from my console until the other day.
If anyone has this part I would be interested in purchasing it, getting some detailed pictures and exact dimensions or identifying a source of someone who may be making these for the Shelby console tops. The part does not look too complicated - with some clear details I could make one myself. However, right now I do not have anything to go by for a pattern.
Any help would be appreciated.

Some of you may have been aware that Dan Patch (Kansas City) was a source for concours type look-alike Autolite shocks for our cars. Last year Dan suffered a stroke. He contacted me in November because I had an active order saying he would NO longer be producing the shocks due to his health.
Well, last week he called again stating he was going to carry on making the look-alike Autolite shocks. He has not fully recovered from his medical issues but is much better. What has changed is that his Son has agreed to get into the business with him and do the "heavy lifting" part of the work. From my previous experience the lead time is usually six + months but I always received a first class product.
He stated the lead time should be about the same as before and the product will be the same high quality as before. He ask that I post a note on the Forum that he is back in business. The contact information is the same as before.

Looking for a 9" rear end Daytona pinion support; P/N C5AW-C. The "ideal" date code would be Sept., Oct., Nov. of 1969 but any correct usable part would be good. Would also purchase a correct rear end 1330 yoke for Shelby/Mustang if available. Thanks for your time.

Good Day All,
I have the exhaust manifolds off my car right now and wanted to ask about detailing - should there be engine "blue" overspray on the manifolds in the area where they bolt to the head? Were the manifolds on the engine when the engine was painted?
On some other years, I have seen information/examples of how they should look but do not remember this detail for a 67 GT 500. Thanks for your help.

The four(4) wheels I believe to be the originals for my 69 Shelby GT 350, #480202, January 13, 1969 build date, have recently been cleaned and inspected for markings and condition. With the tires removed all four have date codes, size and manufacturer's name stamped into the rims. All four of these wheels have the TOBY manufacturer's name. All have 7-L X 15 stamped in for the size. Three(3) wheels have a clear date stamp of 2 - 68, one wheel has a date stamp that looks like 2 - 67 (very clear) but with very close examination I believe to be 12 - 67. Of the four wheels, two are glued-in centers and two have the rivets holding the centers. The stampings are all together in one area on the rim. The format is: top line - Mfg's name, second line - wheel date code, third line - wheel size. Thought this might bring some more information to discussion about the 69 Shelby wheels. I did not buy the car new so cannot say for sure the wheels are original to the car. I bought the car in 1980 in a run-down condition, not appearing to have any updating or restoration work done on it since new. FYI

I have had numerous Holley carbs. rebuilt/reconditioned/restored by Drew P. including two or three Boss 302 original units. If you want high quality work and a good result he is the best option available today.
I have used Holley Carburetor (the company) to do a couple of carburetors for me because they are very close to where I live. In two cases carbs. came back without the original parts I sent. One was an original Boss 302 carb. that they replaced the base plate on that you will never find new or used.
