Help Families in Haiti and Jamaica Facing the devastation of Hurricane Melissa

As Hurricane Melissa rapidly intensifies, its extended impacts are expected to be devastating across Jamaica and in southern Haiti. 

Your gift today can help provide lifesaving support—including emergency shelter, clean water and essential supplies—to families most at risk.

The rare Category 5 hurricane and its 160 mph winds is anticipated to be the strongest hurricane on record to strike Jamaica. Families face high risk of extensive flooding, landslides, displacement and damage to land and infrastructure across Jamaica and southern Haiti. Many families in the storm's path live in fragile shelters or informal settlements, where flooding can be devastating and deadly.

Jamaica looks to be the epicenter for the worst of Melissa's triple threat of extreme flooding, wind damage and storm surge. In Haiti, the limited availability of functioning health facilities, combined with ongoing cholera outbreaks, raises concerns about any disruption to water and sanitation services. Widespread insecurity and poor logistical infrastructure are likely to significantly worsen the impacts of the storm. Urgent needs will be for safe shelter, clean water, food and essential hygiene supplies.

The K-Code "Hi-Po" 289 was Ford's factory high-performance small block, producing 271 horsepower. It was the only engine worthy enough for the first Shelby GT350 and remains one of the most sought-after Mustang options ever offered.

Out of the 607,568 Mustangs built in 1966, only about 5,469 received the K-Code engine.

Of those, a small fraction were ordered as fastbacks, fewer still with the GT package, and only a very limited handful with the automatic transmission.

This combination makes this car extraordinarily rare—an investment-grade Mustang that is nearly impossible to duplicate today.
