Automatic or factory 4 speed car.

Prefer original drive train, but not necesary

Nice daily driver quality car, with no RUST history and no CRASHED cars.

Well after 17 years  our non concourse "Cult Car" a.k.a. "The Rental" needs the top replaced.

Back story once upon a time it rolled off the Legenday "Hertz Black Magic Cars" line up.

Then purchased by the first owner who had this Black Magic Car for about two years running around the beautiful island of Hawaii.

Yes I have its original Hawaiian plates both front and back stored.

Although the Cult Car had no fault in the violent battles that where occurring in the domestic household during this time, the evil and jealous princess took a knife to the black top and shredded its lovely factory clothe top.

Boohoo!

Poor oroginal mannequin owner had to replace the o.e.m. top on his dime.

Long story short the marriage fell apart during this very tumultuous time.

The Cult Car was in the middle of this simply horrendous break up and thats when we miraculously stepped  and rescued  this 1 of 500 GTHs now with a new top.

Time passes and right around 2019 the rear glass adhesives come loose and the glass falls off.

Not a problem, put some super duty adhesive and it's still stuck until  today.

So why replace the top ?

Because since this is not a "koncourse kar" that top goes up and down more than two kids on a seesaw and has developed small slices  on the sides.

So the time has comes to replace and the question is :

What top?

What brand?

What (be different it does not have to be black) color?

The NAS Key West Southernmost Air Spectacular presented by Key West International Airport will be on March 29 & 30, 2025 onboard Naval Air Station Key West.

The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Team the Blue Angels and other military and civilian aerial performances will fill the skies on the Florida Keys.

This year's theme is AIR | LAND | SEA in addition to celebrating the U.S. Navy 250th Anniversary!

About +/- five years ago this 1966 Shelby Hertz GT350 was rescued

Here was the story that was sent to us:

Yesterday was pretty monumental day for us at Signature Auto/ Bosscars.

We have been trying to rescue a 1966 Shelby GT350H that is still owned by the first owners after the Hertz rental program ended.

It has been sitting outside since 1981 and the Ohio weather has taken its toll on this gem.

We first heard about it 5 years ago and met with the owner to encourage her to get it out of the mud.

We recently had contact again with the family and were able to make a plan.

Wanting to be careful not to damage the car further or ever worse, break it in half, careful planning and evaluating the situation ensued over several weeks.

With the expertise of Cal's Towing of Columbus, and our staff, we were able to safely extricate it from its home of 40 years.

This car holds a lot of fond memories for the family and the hope is to restore it and be able to drive it once again.

This is another yearly quality event, if in the area be sure not to miss the Florida International Auto Show – The Ultimate Mobility Experience November 20 – 24, 2025.


Join us for a journey through automotive excellence, where history meets the future, and excitement knows no bounds.

These are not ours cars, but viewed that they are currently for sale.

They look and seem to be stellar vehicles that did go to S.A. for some modifications.

Having said that, we do not consider these to be part of the "Real Cult Cars"

I consider these just like the Explorers, Focus, and the regular rental Mustang GTs.

Again just my opinion, so go out and buy the fine examples and enjoy!
