Opps! Ment to only post the S&C plate fram. Not my two other pst cars!

This post brings back lot of memories as I purchased a number of cars from S&C Ford including'67 GT500 #0962.Al Rivera was there Shelby man. Actually traded my first Cobra to them and Al did the paperwork!
On the plate topic my plate frames from 1967 were red and read S&C Ford. Have pictures of that but don't know how to post!

Who knew! 1968 sold my Cobra (csx2192) for $4000 and my '67 GT500 (#0962)which I let the buyer assume the loan!

Years back I bought a '69GT350 at an auction in Reno that had a Canadian title. Had no issues registering it in Nevada.

#0962 came with a fiberglass hood & center lights

That brings back a memory Bob! I yo thought about a trailer hitch on my '67 GT500 for my Cobra back in 1968. Decided against it as trailer was little more expensive than I thought. Shortly after sold both !

There was a Williams Ford in Daly City next to the theater...on Mission Street... in 1964. I bought my used 63 1/2 Falcon Sprint there and later had then upgrade cam,heads,and intake from the Shelby Parts Catalog. Later traded that for my fist Cobra!

S&C Ford is no longer in SF. Believe that property on market street is now apartments. Think they move to South Sf or Daley City.

About 15-20 years back was trying to get the Shelby vin # for my first cobra as I was unable to find it in the registry. I did have the black CA plate # from 1966. Reached out to CA DMV and was told to send a check for $50 and they would get it from their archives. Sent the check, and a week later....after the check had cleared... was notified that it was too old for their archives! Gotta love the "golden state"!

I also tried to get on a waiting list for the Cobra Experience dinner but was told the waiting list was also full. They have 350 dinner reservations. I too would like to purchase a ticket if someone has one for sale.

With SAAC 50 upcoming, wonder how many "old timers" who owned Shelbys in the '60s are still around still reminiscing!?

Since dinner for Saturday night is sold out, will the room be open after for those wishing to watch the evening program?
