Bringing this topic back up as I am need of a fuel pump for my 67 GT350...........PO just put a brand new aftermarket fuel on it and the fuel pressure is too mush and dumping fuel in the carb ( verified by couple experienced carb guys)

From what several knowledge folks have told me Bob has the best solution for a driver car which is mine.

The newer Chinese built fuel pumps the pressure is all across the board so its Russian Roulette

With headers get a power steering drop bracket to clear stuff

Word of caution on my 1970 SCJ I noticed that the bracket which was a bolt on would move when the wheel was turned at least when the car was sitting still. You may want to weld the bracket

Keep in mind headers on a 428 will create more heat in the engine bay. You may or will experience heat soak in the starter system.
I would recommend a hi torque mini starter and check battery cables and ground.
I used a starter from RobMac on my 428 SCJ with great results

I actually was at RK yesterday dropping off my triple black 1970 Challenger convertible for them to sell and briefly looked at the car....

Interesting story on it.....the owner of RK Motors Rob Kaufman owned this and a blue 67 GT500 and had both restored........he owned a Nascar Cup team ..... Michael Waltrip Racing which Michael drove for .....after Michael won a big race ( not sure maybe Daytona 500?) he gave both the GT500's to 2 folks on the team....not sure who

Anyway this is one of them and its gone thru a couple owners now back at RK to sell.
