I somehow missed the last post - the price is in $US.

Thanks to all who have contacted me about the car.  I'm attaching a few pictures of some of the parts people have inquired about.  More pictures available on request. 

I'm lowering the asking price to $170K.  If the car does not sell in the next four weeks, I will be storing it until the spring and then re-assessing whether to sell it or not... again next year.

JohnSlack - the intake and the Holley 2 x 4 setup came as an over the counter kit.  I'm almost sure the intake is a Ford  part from what I recall. I have an original (bolt on 45 HP) ad somewhere that might confirm that.  If I find it, I'll let you know.

Selling my "mistress" according to my wife - Documented 3 owner car.  95,000 actual miles.  4 speed, red, white Lemans stripe (was originally a stripe delete car).  I've owned this car for just shy of 39 years.  I've been a SAAC member for almost all of those years.  I have every receipt except for gas and regular maintenance since 1971.  Comprehensive restoration with mostly NOS parts 1987 - 1989.  This car still presents very well.  Less than 10,000 miles since the car was restored.  Always garaged and stored from the end of October through mid April each year.  Other than regular sponge baths, the car has not been in rain since 1978 when it was stored by the 2nd owner.  Runs very strong.  Drives great - runs smooth and straight, no pulls or shimmies.  Stops straight and as it should with the original KH calipers up front.  Everything works and all the important original parts are there.  This car has been a ton of fun to own and drive and it has never let me down.
    
Mid to late March 66 Ford build.  I have all SAAC info on the car.  Delivered to / sold by Fellini-Mayfield Ford in Springfield Missouri.  I spoke to the original owner a couple of times in the late 80's.  Fun guy who originally worked in a garage and went on to have quite a successful career in the automotive racing sector.  He said he did the following upgrades and ran the car hard the way it was meant to be run. Lots of great stories.- Dealer installed 2 x 4 Holleys and high rise intake day 1- 10 spoke wheels, Hurst shifter and Lemans cam installed in 1967.

OO sold the car in October of 1971.  2nd owner lived in Oshawa Ontario, Canada and only ran the car from April through October '71 until '78.  He moved to Minneapolis, garaged the car and expected to come back to Canada but never did.  I purchased the car in early December 1986 with just over 85,000 miles on it. 
 
The car still has most of its original sheet metal.  Rear valence was replaced due to cut outs from straight pipes.  Front fenders were replaced with NOS given minor issues with the originals and my body & paint guy at the time said it would be cheaper just to replace them.  All original glass dated 6A except for the windshield that was replaced with a Carlite windshield in 1987. Floor is original and excellent.
 
All exterior chrome is perfect.  All stainless is near perfect.  Interior head liner and rear seat are original and like new. The dash pad, instrument cluster door panels, interior door chrome, steering wheel cap, front seat covers, carpet, door rubber and felt strips etc. were all replaced with NOS in 1988 and are still like new.
 
Original T-10 works perfectly as does the original rear end. No oil leaks from anywhere in the driveline.
Running on BFG 215/60/R14 T/A's.  10 spokes are original, not reproductions and are in excellent shape. 

Currently installed Motor - 302 with hipo pistons, rods and original heads, hipo fan, G2 radiator, correct alternator, distributor etc.  Heads were redone this spring to replace worn valve guides & seals and to install hardened seats and new exhaust valves.  160 lbs compression give or take a few lbs across all cylinders.  Lemans cam which works great with the 2 x 4 setup, especially north of 4,500 rpm.   Est. HP = 350 - 360.  Still has the original 2 x 4 Holley setup dated 633.  Carbs were rebuilt and restored by Drew P 3 years ago.  Original fuel pump was working fine but I had Fred Ballard rebuild it a few years ago, while he could.  It's now bagged in my parts bin.  Currently running a high flow Napa fuel pump. Clutch was replaced when the motor was rebuilt in 1988.  Still works great. 
 
Original VIN stamped motor was cleaned, tested and bored .030 over 2 years ago.  I was going to put it back in the car but was convinced to leave that to the next owner who might want to build it differently than I would have.
 
In 2005, Pertronix ignition was installed and the front and rear suspension was replaced with lowered and more modern components to improve handling.  The work was done by Legendary Motorcars and the car was featured having this and other work done to it on a season long segment called the Gran Sport Mustang Challenge on the Dream Car Garage TV show that Peter Klutt and my cousin Tommy hosted.  Other bolt on / bolt off mods were done for the show, but removed and returned to stock. I was so impressed with the suspension upgrades, I left them on and kept all the original parts which are in great shape and have been cosmetically restored since. 
 
The car is being sold configured as is.  Sold with the car is the original block with hipo main caps, 289 crankshaft with fresh 10 / 10 cut, correct camshaft cover, date code correct and rebuilt water pump, original dual point distributor parts, original rear springs and new correct shackles, original front springs, upper control arms and steering link, new spring perches, new lower control arms, original 4 speed shifter in excellent shape, correct pinion snubber and a Spectra Premium gas tank I bought years ago because I'm pretty sure the gas tank in the car is still original.
  
Asking $180K all in.  The car is located in the Town of Blue Mountains, 1 1/2 hours northwest of the Toronto airport.  Inspections are welcome.  Serious inquiries by PM or email only please.  I have LOTS more info on the car that I can share, I welcome any questions and can provide any additional pictures on request.  This car is perfectly reliable, a ton of fun to drive, still able to win local car shows and comes with pretty much everything except stock exhaust that a buyer needs to restore it to stock condition if / when they may want to.
 
If the buyer is interested, optionally I also have a correct Cobra intake manifold and a correct, rebuilt and restored 3259 Lemans carb dated 622. I also have dozens of other NOS, excellent quality used and new, supposedly concours correct parts that I've bought over the years in case I did another restoration.

I bought some premade with the correct rivets from Jim Cowles at Shelby Parts & Restoration about 6 years ago.  Not sure if they still sell them, but easy to check with Jesse.

Check with Jesse at Shelby Parts & restoration.  I bought a tach cup and mount from them a few years back.  Hopefully they still have some. They are bare metal so you have to paint with black wrinkle paint yourself, but easy to do.

Totally agree.  The reason I used the Felpro was I had issues with the cork gasket that was on it.  I am also not planning to have the car judge so functionality was more important than looks to me.

I asked this question a few years ago and was told the following gasket was highly recommended. FelPro part number OS1326OT I used it on my oil pan and it worked great and I've never had a leak in the last 5-6 years.

I've been using Autolite 45 plugs for decades with good performance and no issues.
