Thanks trotrof1. That's what I thought. I'm thrilled that I found this shop that would redo my radiator the way I want. I saw samples of his work. I didn't tell him what the radiator was for but just a "Mustang".

Well you weren't lying, it is just a Mustang radiator common to all manual transmission San Jose V8 cars.

Bob, thank you. Would there be an o-ring either inside the threaded portion or between the flat parts of the fitting to filter junction?

Which is correct, the large one with the Wix 33045 (or equivalent) or the smaller with the 33046?
