Parts For Sale / 1969 Lucas fog lamp housings
March 14, 2026, 03:51:09 PM
I have a nice high end driver quality pair of original Lucas housings with the correct small grommet wire hole. Most you find have the large gray grommet which I believe is the over the counter or later service parts. The shine is bright as you can see in the photos as I tried to show different angles for detail. There are scratches and a small crack on one housing and lens cover. Additional photos available if needed.

Parts For Sale / 65-66 side louver
March 14, 2026, 03:43:36 PM
The frame is in great condition with no broken or cracked areas. I have the other side, but it broke in half while in storage, so I am very careful with this one.
Looks like original paint so should be easy the bead blast and start your restoration. I tried to show pictures of the edge detail to show it is a solid piece. Part# C5ZB-63280B 11-A, driver side

I will be adding additional fastback pieces up for sale.

Buyer pays with PayPal, family and friends and shipping based on address. $400.00 + shipping

Concours Talk / 1969 GT350 exhaust details
March 14, 2026, 10:16:41 AM
I am in the process of replacing my exhaust system. My question, the muffler has a seam on one side. Is the seem on the top side and not visible or do I mount with the seam on the bottom and visible?

TY for the response on the tag. I have a tag but was not sure of mounting location. Appreciate all the replies.

I know most of you have more detailed information than I do but if the aluminum intake was installed at Ford, why would the thermostat housing be painted? Do not want to create a back and forth or question your knowledge, just seems like a lot of work.

My car has A/c.

Appreciate your replies and look forward to your help.

I have sold the upper control arms. They showed a C4 stamp on the underside.

I had my 69 GT350 judged a while ago and a few items were listed as being incorrect.

The front brake calipers need to be blacked out which I understand. My question is, what about the brake shoes that show thru the rim?

Door window handles had spacers which I removed but do I keep the plastic spacer?

I have a set of E 70-15 with the White letters and the report reads they should be black wall. The backside is all black, but the lettering is hollow compared to the white letters. Could I just turn these around?

The report shows I have the wrong fan on the alternator, any help with a picture of the correct fan?

The report shows I am missing the ID tag on intake. Wouldn't that have been left on the original intake when replaced with the aluminum?

Appeals / 65-66 front suspension original or reproduction
February 23, 2026, 02:10:13 PM
I purchased a large lot of 65-66 NOS parts, and these were part of the purchase and not sure if original or a good reproduction set. There are some markings on the upper control arms, and the ball joint boots have Ford part numbers. The rivets look correct with the waffle relief on the uppers, but the backside is not flat like an NOS set I have. There looks like a C4 stamped on the underside of the uppers but faint. Any input would be appreciated.

I plan to sell these but need honest opinions as to what they are.

I this jack handle for many years sitting on the shelf. My records show it is for the 68 cars from the Meutuchen plant. Handle is in great condition and not heavily pitted or damaged with hammer marks or heavy use and would look new when restored.

Appeals / Re: Car trailer service
February 13, 2026, 05:21:56 PM
Appreciate all the response and will check into a few options described. I understand the concerns with a complete seal and trapping moisture, but my biggest concern is the front panels as past trailers have usually leaked, and the wood was rotten and had to be replaced.

Appeals / Car trailer service
February 12, 2026, 05:45:22 AM
Purchased an enclosed car trailer and interested to see if anyone has waterproofed the underside wood exposed to the elements. I live in Florida and rain and water on the roads is a constant problem in the summertime. I see there is some type of treatment on the wood but looks weak. Has anyone tried Flex Seal or something else to help preserve the wood or see issues with sealing?
