we are making originals so anybody got a sample to copy as i got assembly line 3 layers here and am going to make the solid orange top  not the red lines c5zz service ones. The ones we are making are new take offs with c7zf 9654 a. black ink stamp on bottom side as i got some out of ford plant years ago. What i am trying to figure out is what change was made in 67 to have that id #?  Does anybody got an original 65 66 carb gasket to compare or is there 2 vendors or a running change on the top color  strpped redish or  solid orangeish.   I sent originals to chris brown back years ago to make but dont know what happened to them but we were working on them when he passed. and i dont know why nobody has repoed this much needed gasket as every car needs one but we want to make the assembly line type.

I had that wire holder clip made back in 2005 because it was very hard to find after everybody installed hurst shifters back in the day and if u dont install that clip your reverse wire can end up getting melted on exhaust pipe when not routed correctly.

69 has 1 but dont 68 have 2 by shifter

Did the aluminum air cleaners have the thin gasket vs the 3 stacked type found on regular air cleaners with the red on 1 side? I sent original gaskets to chris brown back years ago to make but never got finished as i see nothing out there that is correct on the market and we are back to working on this much needed part. I seen the red type and a more orange type and is it different vendors or running changes. Was the c5zz  service gasket used from 65 on up or was there a different type as i have a thin with a c7zf ink # stamped on it that came out of ford engineering and its not the 3 layer stacked type gasket as we are wanting to make the assembly line type only so what do you guys think is concours correct?

Now that saac-51 is over we are planning on the fall classic as many people asked me about going to our show when we were selling parts at our tent swap space. I stayed at our tent most of the time and talked to many people and sold lots of parts considering this show was mostly a racing event and car show the gate crowd was down i thought as not many people were walking around like in the past big anniversery events but was told many cancellations and dont know why as the weather turned out good considering how hot it could have been and glad we got a tent.

We bought 2 aosmith harvestor silos back in 1969 for $40,000 plus and the silos were well made to last but the bottom elevator feed systems kept breaking down and very hard to fix with all that silage packed on top of it fixing the chain system was dangerest and a neighbor was killed. Dad got tired of paying taxes so we paid to have them taking down when the cattle prices went down back years ago. Just think if i could have talked dad into buying shelbys back then instead of them silos but oh well we got a good tax write off haha
