Back years a go we did a 67 red 68 white 69 blue shelby display at detroit auto show for some reason maybe 50th shelby or something dont remember but we took chris browns blue 69 shelby drag pack vert that i helped him with. RIP CHRIS    What if we got a photo of red white blue 1 of each body style  white 65 -66. red 67-68 blue 69-70 as that would be kool?

i got some originals i restored or u looking for a unrestored hose?

69 shelbys were designed to have the new wide low profile f-60-15 polyglas gt tires and early shelbys had tractions bars so i think the new leafs were designed for better traction with new wide tires. 69 shelby leafs only used 2 round hole (not square hole) spring wraps not 3 like other year springs and bottom leaf lays flat and dont use a sring wrap. The front eyelet had white paint sprayed on the front end and the later cars started using c9zx bottom leafs along with the s9ms and i never could figure out why #s change as gt 350 vs gt500 vs 4-speed vs auto as nobody that i know of has figured out a pattern but the very early cars had 5rs68

What would vapor blasting do to polished aluminum? If its been polished to much and the detail  marking are being removed from too much blasting what about a ceramic aluminum coating as a local guy does ceramic coating on exhaust manifolds and they look great.

Now that ford carlisle is over i talked to many carlisle  vendors that are interested in setting up vendor spots and wanting tent rental info so what is the latest info on the swap meet area and do we have to go thru the track to get a tent setup? thanks I think this meet will be a good swap meet being that no big ford swap meets have been in the southeast in a long time.

69 70 type with groove?

Yes ford blacked out the whole top of steering box tag and all as i think to hide rust showing on top even thou hard to see on a big block but very visable on a 6 cyl. and small blocks. I have a 69 steering gear box off a 1000 mile 69 mustang that was wrecked when new and parted out i bought back 30 years ago i use for reference to document this blackout. The black paint never stayed very long due to the oil and grease used in gearboxs

Holley is being bought out by allstar performance i was told.

I think the 4 digit date code started in early 70s and the 70s holleys had casting changes or improvements over the 60s holleys. I buy 70s holleys for parts since the accelerator pumps, choke hump, top airhorn side ribs, and rh side choke top boss was beefed up just to name a few changes besides fuel bowl castings and screws etc.

Well it was in my basement back years ago with thousands of original car photos i took before the internet when we had to actually carry a camera around to car shows and car inspections of unmolested cars as that was the only way to do research when restoring concours cars back in the 80s 90s. I may have loaned out that photo and like many others never got returned. Thinking back i may have got that photo from larry lawrence who was a KK painter who painted the b9 hood scoops and 70 shelby hood stripes as he also had the KK photos of 70 shelbys at KK out in the lot. Larry made the tape of ford execs and cars at KK plant of open house b9s and the mid engine car and the lone star and talladegas etc. Gary B. may also have them photos as he talked to larry before he passed if i remember correctly.

I had that photo  i got  back in the 80s from detroit Tom Tulusty who ran Ford muscle parts business after he was done with his ford kar kraft job. Dave riley worked for him back in the 80s and i went to his auction back in the 90s when he cleaned out his inventory and cars and filled up my van. The sign was black and white and had a checkerboard with SHELBY letters but was only part of the sign and i got with that photo a picture of the  boss quarterhorse fender emblems.

can it be delivered to carlilse?  they   are heavy.
