Originals will have C6OA-3655-A cast into the underside of the cap, as Dave mentioned above. You can typically see part of the casting through the emblem cutouts. See attached photos.

Up For Auction / Re: 1966 Hertz SFM6S1796
September 17, 2025, 09:48:19 PM
I believe it was bid to $165,000, as that's what was shown as the final amount when auction was ended. I assume it was a 'no sale' as sold cars on that site are marked as such.

Concours Talk / Unrestored Judging
June 21, 2025, 02:45:13 PM
I have a 1967 GT350 which is unrestored that I am considering bringing to SAAC50 and having judged in the unrestored category.

I am currently replacing the suspension rubber wear items as a safety measure, as the originals are worn/cracked. If I were to have the car judged, would the judges expect the suspension components to be left as-is with normal wear/dirt or would there be a deduction for dry ice blasting the parts to remove dirt/grime but leave the original finish?

Also, could someone provide insight into how this category is scored? Is it a deduction based point system similar to concours?

You should be able to go direct to American Modern for a policy. That's what I did about 10 years ago and have three cars on a policy with them (no middle man).

Nice find! My car's door tag was found under the carpet.

If you weren't aware, the Shelby Research Group is tracking 67's with door tags.

This is current list of cars with tags found:

I'm sure they'd love to have the data from your car to add to the list.

Anyone else notice the lever by drivers seat/trans tunnel? I'm guessing it possibly for a hone-o-drive?
