Here we go again with some of the most beautiful weather in the country... The left coast is gearing up for some fantastic auctions, car shows, and coffee meet ups. A time when old and new friends alike can talk about all things SHELBY. Hope to see the old regulars and maybe a few will go home with their lifelong dream of these old cars. See you soon!

A quick trip into the internet of what 500 KR S are selling for will reveal that my 160k to 220k price range seems to be the meat and potatoes of the selling price today... Not MY pricing but an active search shows these findings. There are very few maybe a handful or two, of owners that think they need 25 thousand dollar tires or even 50 thousand dollars for their cars. You are spot on... its their money and their rules! Everyone has different wants and needs. Thanks for what you bring to the table with these cars Jeff!

Since KR 500s are trading hands in the 160k- 220k range seems nuts to spend 25k on tires. More people are buying into the Revology customs that are trading in the 300k- 400k range. Times are a changing!

Maybe he should have started at 50,000 dollars just in case someone tried to beat him down 1000.00 on price... Good Luck!

Time to put the crack pipe down ... Holy Moley

Ok thanks BOB... I was going to do a deep dive in my stash of goodies. Common items that will work for his car.

Did the original cars use something different in some way? Those look very generic...

Got a picture of one?

Thanks to all those that have responded to my inquiries... You have helped move this forward on its very long journey, with some lively banter Love it. Keeping up with the SHELBY faithful!!!

Jeff- Pete you guys are making it a little faster then intended! I think OL SHEL went 175 mph on the Goodyear test track not 187... I think the goal of 177 is still within range of what it is capable of! After having a total knee replacement it might be for a younger guy to give it a go, will have to see- just a little detour thats all.

Yes its for 1189 if it makes a difference.....

Thanks for responding Jeff... I see stickers on some 67 Shelbys but not others. Did some get them and others not. Plaza glass if memory serves me right, dont remember if it was under decklid and hood or if just the fiberglass late only cars without the steel liners?

Now that my car is nearing completion... I wanted to know what under hood and decklid stickers were used on a 67? Where were they placed, and did all get the same stickers. Thanks in advance!

All good my friend... No harm no foul. I did like that song back in the 70s

Still working great... Wanted to say thank you for those that chimed in for my taillight troubles. Those that might experience similar troubles could follow this along to get them all fixed up.
