Quote from: 65cobra on June 05, 2025, 03:29:37 PMI am working on a 3-9-67 build gt350, inboards, flat tail panel, functional brake vents. K code engine is not numbers matching but if I can find some correct coded parts why not?  but what date codes ranges would be correct for distributor and Carb?  I could also use a OG side scoop one is missing, and a ps cooler.  Lots is missing but thats my main shelby specific stuff.
I have a correct 715 Holley date code 712 available.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: Re pop Speedway 350's
June 17, 2025, 05:14:54 PM
Quote from: roddster on June 17, 2025, 11:54:22 AMI'm having a little issue on my tribute car in that the BFG's on Magstars want to rub the front fender the front. Tire size is 215R 70X15     So looking around at the Coker website the current price for repop Speedway 350's is $600.00 (!) For each tire.
Just a guess that this must be tariff related.
Seems BFG's at 205R 65 X 15 are not being made anymore. I hope I'm wrong about that.
I run 215R 65 X 15 on the front of both my 67's with no clearance issues.

Up For Auction / Re: 67400F7U00682 on BAT

Quote from: thinkshelby on February 13, 2025, 01:24:16 PMThe CarCollectorClub user on BaT posted the following on Bat:
185K for a missing vin number, registry wreckage story, and cracked block. I believe I would have let her ride.

I'm posting here to see if anyone has more info about the registry wreckage story.

The front end event appears to have been mild.

For many years I had Gene Painter repair the cracks in my 67 door panels. Gene was easy to deal with and did a great job but unfortunately, he passed away. Does anyone have a source they are familiar with that provides this service? I did talk to one dash repair company, but they had never done a repair on a deluxe 67 interior door panel.

Thanks

That is one kick ass video. Beautiful story and car.

The Plazaglas, all fiberglass hoods and trunk lids, for the most part began to appear the beginning of April and were salted in with the remaining Borg Warner metal framed hoods and trunk lids until the Borg Warner parts were depleted. With 67 Shelby Mustangs there are always exceptions to the rule however.

There were 96 red GT 500 cars. 11 of them were automatic with AC without thermactor, 2 red automatics with thermactor.
The Shelby records are here at SAAC.
I believe the SRG gets most of their information from the Registry and Marti reports.
I haven't followed this car and discussion so maybe the critera SRG used was for something different.
A red automatic with AC is definitely rare.

Ask a Registrar / Re: 67 EFFPI steering wheel

This long tab wheel looks correct and very nicely restored for a 1967 Shelby.

Hi Randall,
I would have the present owner of the car contact the owner from 1994 to 2001. I believe they may know something about it. If the present owner doesn't know them, have him contact the 1967 Shelby Registrar and he can forward their email address.

The son of the past owner of 67200F7A01298 contacted me. He has a lot of original documentation for the car. I do not know the present owner.
