Truely a loss. I met Doug many years ago in a gas station on the way to one of the PA. conventions and we have been friends ever since. Doug was a very intelligent and creative hands-on guy. He was a true enthusiast who was the original owner of 67 #1111. He will be missed.

This is almost too good to be true.

The Metal framed components were pretty much done by date. #832 was completed 3/20/67 when Shelby was still putting steel reinforced hoods and trunk lids on cars. It would also have inboard lights.

I am working on a 3-9-67 build gt350, inboards, flat tail panel, functional brake vents. K code engine is not numbers matching but if I can find some correct coded parts why not?  but what date codes ranges would be correct for distributor and Carb?  I could also use a OG side scoop one is missing, and a ps cooler.  Lots is missing but thats my main shelby specific stuff.

I have a correct 715 Holley date code 712 available.

I'm having a little issue on my tribute car in that the BFG's on Magstars want to rub the front fender the front. Tire size is 215R 70X15     So looking around at the Coker website the current price for repop Speedway 350's is $600.00 (!) For each tire.
 Just a guess that this must be tariff related.
     Seems BFG's at 205R 65 X 15 are not being made anymore. I hope I'm wrong about that.

I run 215R 65 X 15 on the front of both my 67's with no clearance issues.

The CarCollectorClub user on BaT posted the following on Bat:
    185K for a missing vin number, registry wreckage story, and cracked block. I believe I would have let her ride.

I'm posting here to see if anyone has more info about the registry wreckage story.

The front end event appears to have been mild.
