"Hoploer" may be a scammer. He is trying to sell me a Hipo camshaft from Marv's mustangs. I have found it for sale online in the past where someone lost their money.

I spoke with Lee at Holman Moody. He said they have high quality lifters by Johnson that could be a worthy replacement if that helps....

This is a pretty cool project if someone is looking for something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I just took the 5 bolt hipo engine to my engine builder to have it freshened up. I am taking the toploader close ratio trans to Craig Conley to have him go through it. There was one small rust are in the floor which we have repaired. Complete hipo drive train included. 6S1432 racing at Chuckwalla Raceway October 10,2025; Mark Atherton, driver; Car ran great. Facilities were nice. People were friendly. I will definitely go back. Might be a great place for L.A. SAAC.

The whole car needs to be painted. It is appliance white as opposed to Wimbledon white. Then there is re striping. There are other repairs that are not as obvious. My number was 60k and I might be light on that number.

I have run all kinds of numbers on this car. The cost to put it back are extreme. You would need to get it much cheaper than the seller is willing to take.

Has LA SAAC ever raced at Chuckwalla, Las Vegas Speedway, or has anyone approached Thermal Raceway? Who is in charge of this? I would be willing to make some calls...

Is this discussion, an agenda item for L.A. SAAC? What other alternatives are there for Southern California racing? Vegas?
