Remember a lot of us took our Shelby's apart in the early 70's to do them over. Not like restorations are done today . SAAC was just starting to keep notes on our cars back then. I took the tag off of mine to give them the Ford Vin.I remember when they were redoing the tags . I had other things to do so I put it away so I could clean up the engine comp. Move ahead 40n years an the ol brain isn't as good as it was back then. I kept all the contents in the glove box. One was a California map. Was a good home for it at the time.

Parts were easier to sell.  Cars would come up really cheap when guys got married . Got a lot of good deals back then.

My 66 GT350 convertible was just an old Mustang . Cobra and Shelby did live in the barn for a while.

Rear bumper with holes for a hitch . $100
hang it on the wall as art.
