I enhanced the picture a little, so you could read the numbers a bit better.

Also to add to what Scott had to say is that sometimes depending on the cam, you may have intake or exhaust tighter or looser than the other to vary the characteristics of the cam slightly. The cam I run is recommended to be set at. 024 for one and. 026 for the other. I forget which is which and will probably just shoot for. 025 on both the next time I set them just to make it easier  ;D

I have ordered four of these seals. Thus far, they have not come. I think I have waited about a year. I am being patient because this would be a game changer.

I'm wondering how you have waited about a year when they just announced it last November and they said it would probably be around March. Have you tried calling them to get a time line for when it will be available?

camp upshur, how have you come by all of your information? Sounds like maybe you were an insider somewhere back in the day?

Beautiful looking crank shaft! One thing to watch out for when stroking a 289 bock is that the cylinders are a bit shorter on the bottom end. So not as easy to get away with as on the later blocks that had longer cylinders. I enhanced the crankshafts picture so that you can read some of the numbers a little bit better.

To start with, you need to say what car and what year.

Be very careful when using any kind of sealant on fuel line fittings, as they can get loose and clog up jets or filters. Back in the dark ages, I used some Teflon sealer before I knew better and it ended up clogging a fuel filter and causing me a lot of trouble.

As they say, pictures or it didn't happen. 😁

If the cam is in the up position, the pump will slide in fairly easily.. Sounds like you did it right and got lucky with a position of the cam upon install.

Cleaned it up to make it a little easier to read the numbers.

Roy:

That Shelby script intake is a 289 or a B2 intake? Got better pics of it?

Doug, it is a Boss 302 one. Heres a few pictures. Far right Is the shelby intake. Then next to that is a Boss 302 2x4 for regular Holleys? And then the dual dominator and then an Nos Transam intake and then over the counter 2x4 intake for a 289.

That is a great deal. I'm tempted to buy it, but I already have a complete setup with linkage and air cleaner. And I also have the other style of 2x4 intake. I also run one on my Mustang, and as you can see in the picture the linkage is direct, as it should be. Not a sliding type linkage that some people use. One picture shows the transam intake next my Shelby 2x4 intake also and another picture shows the over-the-counter 2x4 intake.

You can't hardly get decent generic ones for that price. In my opinion, that's a great deal.
