Wanted to Buy / 1996 SVT COBRA Water pump pulley
November 11, 2025, 05:51:40 PM
Yes I know it is not a vintage Shelby part! However, I am fixing a car for a Vintage SAAC member! someone had installed an underdrive system on this car and we are trying to put it back to stock and this discontinued Pulley part # F6ZZ-8509-AA has been unfindable for me. so I am seeing if anyone on the forum has one. Thanks!

This thread is still a disgrace and an embarrassment. Hopefully the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing forum is kinder to Hoovie!

Up For Auction / Re: BaT auction for KR

Quote from: Coralsnake on October 14, 2025, 06:34:44 PMIf I was advising someone I would  suggest not buying a car with three missing ID tags and a full restoration.

I understand everyone has a different level of knowledge and comfortability with these cars.

Just my opinion 🙃
I wholeheartedly concur!

my personal opinion at a quick glance would be a well bought car at that number. if all original Body and drivetrain.

Wow! so sad to see this. I am however extremely happy We got to spend tine with her and Kei at SAAC 50. they had become two of our favorite SAAC friends through the years. Much Love to her family from Dalton and I

His loss is a true sign of the changing of the guard so to speak. He truly was an original in the hobby and his efforts provided a great living for him and his family. and a great source of parts for those who needed them.

SAAC-50 / Drag Racing at Sonoma!!
August 26, 2025, 04:09:01 PM
we had a Blast on Friday. Thank you to everyone who participated and observed. this was my first SAAC event where we had Drag racing and I would love to see it happen again. Jim Long and his crew from Motovision and Jay Bittle and the JBA crew showed up and performed for the amazement of all. Running in low 9's with his naturally aspirated 66 GT350 drag car. a crowd favorite was Ethan's 67 Fastback in Patina finish. he was clipping off 12.18 times and had the most runs of anybody! all in all it was a great event and I look forward to the next one!
