January 15, 2025, 12:23:37 AM
I am still looking for a 1966-67 Shelby GT350 will consider rough condition to driver quality. I am not a flipper. I am recovering from a divorce that cost me my last Shelby I owned for 15 years. just trying to fill a spot in my garage and a hole in my heart.

Quote from: OldFordGuy on November 22, 2024, 05:01:56 PMOf note: Ford did not build a Mustang that was faster than the 63 R code Galaxies in the 1/4 mile until 2013 (the Boss 302).
Thats an interesting fact to know!

Quote from: csxsfm on November 11, 2024, 06:08:59 PMI admired Rick's fight to save SAAC from the takeover bid of Carroll and his lawyers. Now I better understand.
That was when I got to know Rick up close and personal. thats how this forum was born. Rick Kopec is in my list of top ten humans I have ever known!

47 years ago, I stopped at a house I was walking past to look at a similar 427 Galaxie. original owner and the car had a black interior and 16,000 miles on the odometer. I was 14 at the time and he told me I could have the car for $1400 Dollars! it was way more than I had available, so the car sat there. I bought a 390 Fairlane GT for $100 3 years later but the Galaxie never left my mind. I stopped by there 10 years later and it was gone. but I had a good chat with the owner about the car and his time spent with it. People that don't believe how cheap these Muscle cars were did not live through the gas crisis that got most of them parked.

This is a positive and intelligent move by the club. no one is or has been asleep at the wheel and this is just one more example of that!
