In case you missed the email invitation, here are the details about the Thursday Cruise Tour at SAAC-51. If you are arriving a day early, don't miss this chance to explore the mountain roads of Northern Georgia.

Grab your keys and join fellow enthusiasts for a full day of twisting mountain roads, small-town charm, and some of the finest Ford muscle cars you'll ever see up close. This isn't your average poker run — it's a driving tour through the Blue Ridge foothills, with exclusive stops at two private collections not normally open to the public.
Starting and ending near the legendary Road Atlanta, this loop takes you north through the Georgia mountains into North Carolina and back, finishing in style with a happy hour wine tasting at Chateau Élan.

The Route

**🏁 START: Road Atlanta — Braselton, GA**
Gather with fellow drivers for a pre-departure briefing before we roll out together as a group.

**↩️ First Stop: Gainesville, GA**
Heading north, we'll visit a  private collection — an incredible assembly of Shelby horsepower, courtesy of a generous local collector.

**🏔� Rest Stop: Helen, GA**
Quick stop to stretch your legs

**🚗 Second Destination: Hayesville, NC**
Our second private collection stop. Tour an exceptional gathering of vintage Ford muscle cars and an incredible assembly of Ford performance history and memorabilia, hosted by a fellow enthusiast who has spent a lifetime building this private collection.
 
**🏔� Rest Stop: Helen, GA**
A scenic pause in this charming Alpine-style mountain town — stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and soak in the views before continuing South.

**🍷 FINISH: Chateau Élan — Braselton, GA**
Wrap up the day where we started, with a well-earned happy hour wine tasting among friends. Trade stories from the road and toast to a great day of driving.

This note is to alert our members that we only have about a DOZEN tickets left for the Dinner.
There will be NO EXTRAS and it appears there will be NO TICKETS available for sale at the Convention.

We are right at the head count limit dictated by the Fire Marshals. As such, unlike prior years, there will be NO STANDING ROOM admission for the after-dinner program.

Don't miss this last chance to snag a dinner ticket.

Our Convention Dinner will be held on Friday, August 28.
It will be a joint gala affair with the Mustang Club of America and will be held at the Braselton Civic Center.

Tickets may be purchased on the Registration page.

Cash bar Cocktail Hour from 6 PM - 7 PM, dinner from 7 PM - 10 PM. This will be a buffet dinner; menu details to be provided soon.

Seating is limited to 250 guests. Cost is $75 per person.

Following dinner, we will have a feature-packed evening program.

Announced recently at Goodwood FOS, the addition of P/1046 reunites the three podium-finishing cars, from the race that inspired Ford v Ferrari, under a single stewardship for the first time in modern history.

Road Atlanta is one of those tracks that insists on complete control of outside services.
At other conventions, SAAC has contracted with Golf Cart companies directly, to negotiate and provide carts at the best available rates.
Unfortunately this is not the case here; golf carts must be rented directly from the track's exclusive vendor, Custom Golf Carts of Braselton GA

Rental is for the full weekend, Thursday through Sunday and is about $700.00 including tax and delivery.
