^^^ it's the internet... we don't need no stinkin' credits or sources (or facts?)  ::) ???

I don't recall ever hearing the bit (or seeing a photo) about Pete Brock having those stripes on a '46 Ford... anyone have anything further on that? ...is it even true?
I hate going to links.

if life was fair I'd be a millionaire and married to a Super Model, instead I'm broke but I'm married to Miss Tabacco Buyer's Queen of Charles County 1970 "Queen Nicotia"

"The Charles County Fair Queen, Queen Nicotina LXXXV, will reign over the 97th Charles County Fair to be held September 16-19, 2021. "  ::)
That's great, but can she bake a cherry pie? Is she coming to Indiana wearing her tiara?

signed up today, looking forward to it. First show in 18 months for me

The girls want to see you again, but I don't have enough room to bring their luggage.

Can someone provide an overview of SAAC the convention process?
Is it all inclusive package with hotel or do you have to find/book your own hotel?
Sounds like Embassey suites is the "home hotel"?
Car trailer parking?
Safe parking for cars?
Unjudged car show/peoples choice?
I saw judged concours is planned
Also saw drag racing is in, as is track time on the road course
There are probably more events?
You make your own reservations at Embassey Suites, they have a group code. They usually supply list of other nearby hotels.
May rope off an area for SAAC, but many "civilians" ignore and park there.
Popular car show, yes. Judged concours is for very serious cars only.
Drag racing planned and track time at Sonoma Raceway is available.
Cobra Experience is something you will want to go to.

#1198 is curious

thx!

If I remember correctly, Ziebart had a similar warranty, but you had to have the car redone every so often. (yearly?) I think you had to pay for that so almost no one kept it up.

FYI Ziebart World HQ is still in Troy, MI.

Kid with a drill and a "tar gun."  What could go wrong?
When you're a kid with a car, what do you know?

Had it done to my KR, while it may have made the underside looked bad and they did put many holes in various places, I haven't had to do all the rust repair that has been necessary on my '67. If I lived in Arizona, I could have avoided both.

Don't know about GT500, but my KR convertible with no AC has one.

Glad to hear you're planning on having sunshine.

Found the LH air vent. Control cable broken, may be able to fix it. But will probably buy new cable with metal, rather than plastic sleeve.

I been going to spring fling since early 80s dont remember chicken dinners outside but we been having shelby chili hot dogs etc outside in park for saturday noon picnic at the car show for everybody.
This was when there were only about six rooms in the lodge, second building not there yet. Was outside the lower entrance, remodeled and landscape changed since then. Guess I'm showing my age.
