Found this in my shop during a hunt and not sure if real or repo. I want to be sure to list accurately. Thanks!
I believe this to be original...no brackets..the paint has that "original" look and appearance. No primer,or build up from engine enamels. Thanks for your input....

The Lounge / B-J Scottsdale 2021 postponed to March
December 13, 2020, 09:44:13 AM
I wonder how these early 2021 auctions will be affected........lower entries and/or attendance. Seems the virus is changing the way cars are traded and I wonder if interest will return with vigor. So many auctions and so many cars seem to create a certain unknown. Will be fun to watch.

Found this in my parts left from race car project. I believe it fits all years and Ford # is DODZ-16856. This is an original that has a few dings ,but overall pretty darn nice. If you need NOS,this ain't it. Can ship in sturdy tube.

My original fender markings are in yellow ink/paint but no matter how I look at them I still can't be sure of how to reproduce accurately. Both are along top edge of fenders. I know some of you have seen hundreds of examples and may have a clear picture of originals. Jan built 68 350. Thanks!

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Original lug wrench?
August 28, 2020, 09:07:37 AM
I would like to know if this is an oddball or correct for Jan 68 . Came with the car, along with 8A dated jack. 13/16" hex ,but longer than others shown......?
Thanks again

The Ford supplied door sill trim seems to be polished,or just too shiney,in my opinion after comparing back sides of original era pieces. Most of my cars have a finish that looks like a beer can ,for lack of better description. My genuine Ford parts that I have had for 10 years,I believe, look like repo parts because of the near-chrome finish. Am I imagining this or? Any ideas on dulling the finish w/o destroying the parts? Thanks!

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Convert floor plug color
August 01, 2020, 07:07:58 PM
What is the original color of the larger floor plug? I truly believe I have one original from my car and it looks "army green" to me. The repos look to be a gold anodized?

Saved this piece for years for a project that got sold too early. Best piece I have seen for years! Great for a top of the line restoration? Not a swap meet ,bottom of the box part. As far as I know it has never been outside or wet. I will be listing more stuff as I can get it sorted. I have no list, but if looking for that odd piece let me know part #

Check out the virtual swap meet picture. Anything look good?

Are any other year or model use the same retractor? One does not retract. Probably a broken spring inside. Before I try to open this original unit to try and repair I wonder what other would be useable either complete or internal parts. Anybody ever taken one apart and repaired?

Looking to find a pair of the top boot moldings. Need the attaching hardware also. I tried most of the well known dealers w/o success. Any suggestions? Thanks
