They are not letting any cobwebs collect on their Shel-
bys down under. Our Australian brothers are keeping busy flying the Shelby
flag in the Land of Oz, and they keep winning awards for Best Club Display.
Their enthusiasm for Shelby American cars – vintage as well as the brand
new cars – serves as an inspiration for American members who have a ten-
dency to take these cars for granted because they are always here and they
are easily accessible. Try that from 10,000 miles away!

We can probably blame social media for the
ever lessening number of Christmas cards we receive every year. We admit
we stopped sending them out when our list got too long. At one point we were
mailing out more than 300 cards. Rather than trim it back, we just stopped
cold. But there are still some diehards who continue the tradition and they
provide the fodder for this compilation. Receiving them makes us happy, and
isn’t that what the season is all about?
This marriage looks like it’s off to a good start. SAAC member Bjorn Lunberg of Ekero, Sweden loaned his ‘68 GT350
