Today there are seven full- time employees who work in a large, modern shop on the premises tackling everything from general maintenance to full restorations. All cars are main- tained in operational condition. The 3 Dog Garage, itself, is a former manufacturing facility housed in a unimposing three-story building. The name comes from Ross and Beth’s three Bouviers des Flanders herding dogs. The cars are displayed on all three floors, although the collection is rapidly outgrowing the building and another facility down the street has been purchased and is being reno- vated. About 75 cars are on display at The SHELBY AMERICAN Summer 2022 34 The centerpiece of the Ross and Beth Myers collection has got to be his ‘36 Ford Ridler Winner. It was the first car he owned. It won the prestigious Ridler Award at the 2007 Detroit Autorama. The car is parked over a glass section in the floor, allowing people on the floor below it to view the custom undercarriage.
