The SHELBY AMERICAN Fall 2021 95 Photos by Jeff Burgy May 21, 22, 23, 2021 It ’s nice to see that things are mostly back to normal. Is it too soon to describe it as “ Post Covid ” ? We’ll wait on that. Amelia Island is a rite of spring as far as the concours season goes. The first event of the year attracts an eclectic collection of some really interesting cars. They’re careful not to let the show be overwhelmed by a single marque. And they invite a special guest – this year Lynn St. James – which in turn attracts a gaggle of cars she raced over her career. All very nicely done. The concours is on Sunday and prior to that there are auctions, seminars, a local tour and a Cars ‘ N Coffee gathering on Saturday. A busy weekend, for sure. Jeff Burgy was everywhere.
