The Shelby American (Fall 2021)

The SHELBY AMERICAN Fall 2021 20 Fourteen minutes into “The Need For Speed” Jeff Gregg spotted this SAAC-11 poster on the wall. The movie, released in 2014, was one of the better attempts at translating a popular video game onto the big screen. Not exactly Academy Award material, though. You have to wonder why that poster was chosen. Sure looks like a Cobra to us. On a visit to Eugene, Oregon Cory Hitch- cock spotted this article in the Eugene, Oregon newspaper. The illustration shows a woman driving a 427 Cobra This is the kind of eagle-eye sighting that we dream about getting. Steve Sloan sent us an ad for a cobra fishnet teddy he saw on a Macy’s website. In so doing, Sloan provided us with the opportunity to publicly berate him about poking around on the Internet like some twisted pervert. But the more we thought about it, it was just low-hanging fruit. It was hardly sport to disparage Sloan for peeping the In- ternet. It’s not like he spends a lot of time doing that. Right? Another Sloan sighting. This Cobra drain cleaning bladder is self-explana- tory. Screw it on the end of a garden hose and stick it into your sink drain. The water pressure expands the blad- der into the drain and shoots the wayer into it to force the blockage. Not to be confused with a marital aid.
