The SHELBY AMERICAN in many structural improvements. He worked with Phil Remington in Ford’s wind tunnel refining the J- Car’s aerodynamics into what be- came the MK IV shape. After the Ford GT project ended he worked on the front clip of the Torino King Cobra and was instrumental in get- ting the Boss 351 project started. He was also a key contributor in the “Composite Mustang” program which was intended to utilize Shelby parts leftover when the Shelby project was terminated. This program, however, was never pur- sued. His final project at Kar Kraft was to develop the list of modifica- tions to create the Torino Talladega. When Ford and Kar Kraft parted ways, Mountain left KK and started his own design/engineering/manu- facturing company.
