The Shelby American (Fall 2021)

The SHELBY AMERICAN Fall 2021 11 Adirondack Lawn Chairs We showed this picture in the last issue of a GT350 Adirondack lawn chair and it prompted Jeff Burgy to provide a little additional information. The chair was made by Phil Curren (885 Silversmith Circle, Lake Mary, FL 32746 www.philcurren.com). He makes many different versions and can probably custom-make one to your specs. The price is around $350. The chair pictured below is owned by Craig and Bonnie Shefferly of White Lake, Michigan. Craig origi- nally purchased a ‘67 Shelby chair ( above, center ) a few years ago and wanted another of his Cobra replica. He intended to drive to Florida to visit Burgy last year and take the chair back with him. Covid torpedoed those plans so he had to have it packed up and shipped to Michigan – for $250 (ouch!).
