Galvanized headlight bucket

Is the galvanized bucket that is mounted to the core support, mounted to the front or the back of the support. I have seen it both ways and want to be sure. I know the bolts come in from behind but need to determine if the j nuts are on the core support or the galvanized metal?

This should help. Bolts from wheel side, through the plate and then into the radiator support from the rear side.
