What was the original msrp per tire in 1968? $40 - $60.

Not correct for a KR, but definitely very valuable to the right person

I'm looking for 9F02M480004. Have you seen it?

Maybe he should have started at 50,000 dollars just in case someone tried to beat him down 1000.00 on price... Good Luck!

You might be very surprised what someone will pay

Testing the market. You can always drop the price if you're too high. Where are you going to find another set? At some future point separating two top concours cars may come down to the date codes on the tires.

First of all I don't think he discloses the tread depth? If 10/32+ probably 3-3500 each. Second not many 350/500 owners doing Div 1 cars anymore (just you Don)

They would have to be exceptional tires: tread depth and wear; sidewall/letter condition.
Tim has a point--is mine the last '68 Div I??

It takes a lot of years time money and patience to put a matching set of original tires together unless u find a  rare full matching set. Sidewall curb damage and uneven wear from poor  front tire alignment dry rotting etc. Tire tread wear needs to be about the same on all 4 tires on the ground and the spare should be new to be a show set of tires. The value of a tire really changes when the tread gets below 9 or 10 32s as the outer Z treads start disapearing and it changes the tire tread look also the outside tread depth is deeper than the middle because the tire shoulder wears more from front end turning. Place a new tire next to a 8/32 tire and look at the noticeable tread difference in wear pattern.
