Hi all,

On the C6OE-G fan blade for 68 GT350 J-code, I'm finding two variations of the clutch.  Does anyone one know why the two variations?  The version with coiled spring seems to be the most common.
Thanks
Cory

I don't believe ether one was used on 68 GT350. Instead a different shape style marked C7ZX-A was typical.

Hi Bob, that is good to know. Thank you.

So in general, do you know why there are variations like this? I've seen the same clutch on the C6OE-G fan. I'm assuming they're functionally the same. And possibly just a different supplier to keep up with the demand?  Is one better than the other?

Thanks

Cory

Sorry Cory since they didn't come on the Shelby and they do not have much resale parts value I have not bothered to research them.I have some like that I can't give away. I typically have found those on 66 and earlier Fords. If you have a Copy of Ford small block 62-69 By Bob Mannel he talks about those types. https://fordsmallblock.com/

Found a part number.  Looks like C8SE-A.  I'm finding others are saying it was made by Schwitzer.  The SC must be for them.  See attached image.
Thanks

You may get better insight posting inquiries on the concours Mustang forum given they only came on the regular Mustang.

Hi Bob, I think you're right. I would not have known unless I had asked. I will check it out.
Thanks
