So I have  a new " remanufactured" Midland booster. In the pic my original is next to it. They both have the tags on them. The new one the nut and bolt on the band is backwards to my original. Also the new one is stamped FoMoCo on the top. The new reman looks like it was never on a car as it is perfect with no " bolt mark" on the one hole. Anyone know the story on the fomoco stamp? Thanks Tim on the tip on taking my tag  off before sending my original booster out.

FoMoCo stamped one is a service unit. A little body work and you're good to go.

In case it isn't clear for those reading that the "little body work" is so to make the stamp go away.

Interesting as it's in a remanufactured box so it's a new one in a reman box. Yes, a little glazing putty will solve that. I'm glad it has the tag on it like my original. Thanks.

It needs to be filed flat first. The stamp causes the metal around it to raise quite a bit.
