Wow 3300 miles? Interesting

Oh wait, why would they fully restore a 3300 mile car?

I think this dealer is a little confused...its like a gender identity issue 😂

Repo shift knob. Repo door tag. 10 spokes . Just a beautiful looking car but not a 3300 mile car. BTW my good friend has a 4500 original mile 69 Boss 302 that has been fully restored. Ex uncut drag car with all original metal but the hood that hangs from his wall
With an ugly big hood scoop molded to it but his car is the exception to the rule.

Yeah, that's "sorta" like mine: ex-drag car, no rust, low mileage, well mine is a "bit" higher at 30,000 +/- (but then I'm not sure if the previous owner ever "corrected" the speedometer after the "5.67" gears got stuffed in?  :o  ) , and yep, a "ugly big hood scoop"!

And I did go down to the Ford Parts Dept., way back when, and bought a new hood for it!  8)

But I'm not sure if I've got any space on a wall to hang the old one; if I ever do get around to swapping them!  ::)

    Scott.

A little embarrassing that a Ford dealership wouldnt have a better handle on something they are trying to sell

I wonder what they gave in trade for it ?

Must be infected with BAT virus perhaps?
Just nuts.

I have seen this phrase "driven xxxx miles" appearing more frequently, particularly in dealer ads. If you get behind this to the facts, the actual situation is that the car was restored at some point and these are the miles accumulated since that event. They are not stating the actual total mileage of the vehicle.

This ploy is obviously intended to draw interest but is tantamount to misrepresentation by omission. Given the attention deficit condition of many people nowadays, they likely are hoping to rope in a prospect who does not vet the details.

The car had KR side stripes at one time.

I will dig out the photos. It was also at RK Motors
