Not Mine,
Yes magstars were made with the Chevy bolt pattern too. It was a popular after market wheel back in the late 60's. I bought a NOS magstar with a Chevy bolt pattern to use as wall art.

Another factory application was the late 60's Mercury Marauder but I believe those wheels were not chromed.  They used a chrome trim ring and may have been 6" wide versus the Shelby's 7" width.

A friend of mine about 20 Years ago found a Pair of Mag Stars that he was going to buy and told me that Fast Freddy had them.  I told him not to buy them or to trust Freddy. He bought them anyway because Freddy swore they were Ford Bolt Pattern................NOPE, Chevy Bolt Pattern.

Here is the Marauder wheel, without the trim ring, with the trim ring and the back, also a generic Kelsey wheel center that fits a Mag Star

There is also a 14 inch magstar in various bolt patterns . The center is the same size regardless of if 14 or 15 inch.

I had two sets of the Mercury ones.  They were 15 x 7, and did use the trim rings.
I ran a set on my 73 vert without the trim- rim black.  They looked good on it.

The wheels in the ad appear to be 14 inch. The Shelby application is 15x7. The rim angle is flared as opposed to the more angular ones in the ad.

Shelby used the Kelsey center cap. I have removed the gold Cobra applique from original caps and found the Kelsey logo underneath. Original caps also used a unique dish shaped retainer fastened to the cap by two screws. See photos. These can be very hard to obtain if they are missing; reproduction caps were usually supplied with only a flat washer fastened by a single machine screw.

Another thing to bear in mind if buying used Mag Stars is the condition of the stud holes. This wheel used a unique 3/4 inch lug nut with a shank that matched the thickness of the wheel center. The tapered area of the nut thus seated precisely against the center when the base of the nut seated on the drum.

Original lugs were often replaced with ones having a standard taper, which had either incorrect or no provision for depth spacing. They dug into the wheel and flared the edges of the hole. This reduced the diameter of the opening and the shanked nut will no longer fit. This is a difficult fix.

For SAAC 13 67-2637 was equipped with a set of 14" Magstars with the Chevy bolt pattern that I had machined for the UniLug  washers so I could could run them on the car. Wasn't correct of course but fit the budget and my need at the time

Remember, every Sears Auto Center sold Magstars back in the 60's.

Short story:  had some Shelby pal of mine tell me a guy where he worked had a set of "Shelby" wheels.  Yep, I bought (by mistake) 4 Chevy bolt pattern 14" Magstars. Took forever to sell them.  Damn.

A few examples of the ads KH ran in the car magazines like Hot Rod and Car Craft back-in-the-day.

You'll also notice other makes like Corvettes sporting Mag Stars in Goodyear advertisements.
