Good am folks, has anyone here installed the Arvinode exhaust and if so did you do it to a header or original cast iron exhaust manifolds? I'm considering it with my Kcode that currently has ceramic coated headers and sounds great, just considering as it would have come with Arvinode.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice.  Scott

Chances are a owner adding headers to their 65 back in the day would have logically utilized the existing exhaust (early car would have Arvinode) from a cost standpoint first unless they wanted louder exhaust in which case they would have switched to the all purpose glass packs.Ether day 2 mod would not be considered unusual back in the day IMO.

Thanks Bob... current exhaust was on car whhen I got it...not sure when headers were installed but the system back from headers is only couple years old and headers appear to not be much older than that also. I'm just wondering if its a better decision to build Arvinode system onto the headers or get a hold of proper period cast iron manifolds.... assuming you can find them.

It would install the same way as a '66 GT350 attached the factory dual exhaust to headers.

Thanks Charles! that was my first thought but then wondered if the performance would change if bolted to the header VS original manifolds.

The steel tube headers will certainly produce higher horsepower compared to the hipo cast iron manifolds. How much difference is hard to say depending on which exhaust from header/cast iron manifolds on back it's mated to.

The plan would be to use Waldron's system.
