I do not mind the question asking, items to sell, or wanted to buy.  Many folks have learned a lot from the questions that have been asked and if I know an answer, I will chime in unless someone else beats me to it.  The Forum has provided me helpful information, which I have used to correct items on my car that were done incorrectly when I restored my car back in 1990.

You may be referring to me but, let me explain.
After reading about Cobras, I saw my first Cobra (CSX 2313) on the streets of Madison, WI in 1965. I became friends with the original owner within a couple of months. In 1972 I purchased 6S 1023 (Green/gold Hertz), followed by 6S 1314 (green with stripes), and 6S 1545 (red, no stripes). I joined SAAC in 1978 and was a member until about 2000 attending some National Conventions and many events at Road America and Watkins Glen. I saved anything and everything (except the cars!) that I thought had value related to Cobras and Shelbys.
I continued to buy and sell over the years and lately I'm selling. I'm in my 80's and rather than see the remaining items I have go in the dumpster I plan on posting them to sell on the Forum.
If someone finds value in them that will be great. If not, well I'll be the one to put them in the dumpster.

I'm getting old. Some day I will die. With me all the information I know will go away when I die. I don't mind sharing that information if it helps anyone. It is worth what anyone pays for it.

I quoted this above statement, I agree and I like it....+1 as a few will say here... Other that that, not sure what this post was about, is about, or why? I am just very glad to have the SAAC Forum as a resource and visit it everyday. Thank you all for all you do.

To add, I joined back in 1978 then got my first Shelby a 67 (2195) then got 1424, then hard times (school) had to sell...re-joined in 2015 or so after I got 1073 I started visiting the forum then...I now have a tw shelbys, a 66 and a 67...roots run deep

+1 as they say.
I've owned mine since about 1986, and don't have 10% of the knowledge that some on here do.  But I read, and hope to learn.  And really do appreciate the collective knowledge of those willing to share.
Usually, if I don't have anything to share, I don't say anything.
