This whole thing should serve as a reminder that we shouldn't merely assume that an MFG isn't willing to make something that they are not longer producing. Sometimes it's just a matter of asking nicely.

Like 22F batteries? 

I will call Burton today to ask nicely if they would mind pumping out a few 22F batteries after these panels... excellent suggestion 

I think the point being is some vendors are a lot more open to working with people than others. It's awesome that you had a good experience with Burton. We've been chasing these battery guys down for years from one to another and nobody's ever been interested in in touching any of it, not only the 22F but the reverse post as well.
The E 7015 black wall tires came about after years of discussions that I had with John Kelsey any finally agreed to make some. Two years after he called me and said I had no idea these would be so popular.

I recently purchased 67 GT500 #1966 with original interior and it has the early style brushed aluminum door panel on drivers side, and later style on passenger side.  It was built in April 1967 so more towards end of production. They must have just been running out of old style then.

I received a pair of 1967 Mustang door panels for my Dad's yesterday.  Very nice!!  I am very happy I bought these.  I recommend buying a pair while you can.

Well, 2-3 weeks ago I received an email from Burton's that the door aluminum panels are now available, and with a phone number to call about buying them.
  So, I've been waiting for others to see if they are indeed in, or not.  You know, so many scammers are out there.
  So, are they in or not?

Now this an example of why exactly why the forum is so great. It takes the people who know what we need, the willingness  to look for the correct stuff, make contact with a supplier and then make the information available to those who may need it.   Well, I've got mine ordered now.  Nice people to do business with.
 
  My guess is to store them, while I wait for some way better deluxe interior door panels that are not too thick, and also have the correct grain.
