Another concern to think about

Many MCA members also own Shelbys and are also SAAC members.  How is that going to play out with entry fees either with the members car, or without.

I would think the same model used when conventions were done with Team Shelby.

Registration will be separated or delineated to which club you choose to be affiliated with, and register for. For those who are both, they would have to make that choice, and see which gives them the best value and convention experience.

My thoughts.

We are aware of that dilemma. We are actively working to achieve a fair admission with parity, based on club affiliation. Not done yet, but we'll keep you posted.

I was wondering if you could have a car judged by both SAAC and MCA. Could you, for example, enter the MCA trailer or Occasional Drive and SAAC DII?

I don't see why not... they are two separate activities, with different rules and requirements.

I am sure that could be arranged.

Consider that with at least SAAC there is a limit to the number of the cars that will be judged in each class. In the past at least MCA has not had such limitations. We would love to accommodate all cars that wanted to be judged but given the time limitation and the standard better to judge a smaller number of entrees fully than do twice as many half way.

Also at MCA IMO there is a lot of difference between Occasional Driver and their Concours Trailered.
