What person or company do members here recommend for '66 Shelby 9K tach restoration?

With Phil gone, that's a question I'd like to know the answer to.

About 15 years ago I had my tach (1966 GT350) repaired by this folks
Works great, fast service. They had apparently purchased all of Faria tach stuff

I sent two 1966 Shelby Tachometers last year to Mo-Ma manufacturing.  Turn around time was about 3 weeks.  They came out fine.  He did replace the outside stainless steel ring and recalibrated them. When I got them back I applied the black wrinkled paint to be back cover and bracket.  I am not sure he can repaint faces, it didn't seems like he could.

Good experience overall.

I purchased one of Tims tachs and it looked and worked perfectly. I just assumed the restorer painted the cup and bracket.

I went by today and visited for a short time with Joey. Super nice guy. Sounds like they can do most anything. There are certain tach problems that they cannot fix. I believe if the circuit board is bad and/or pointer broken off. They can recalibrate speedos from 120 to 140 mph and tachs from 6K to 8K. The work I saw looked great. He said they do everything in-house. Mike

I sent an extra tach for my 66 to a person about 3 years ago, he was recommended here, but I cannot find him at this point, can someone post who it might have been? He did a fantastic job!

Not knowing who that was, Phil Severance R.I.P. at Phildon Restorations was the most recommended here on this forum IMO and was very likely the one that was recommended to you.
