Is there still a source for reproduction Autolite reverse post battery?

Dominic,

No one actually ever made a reproduction, but you could sometimes talk them into "reversing the posts."

In other words, the "+" on the case would stay the same, yet it would actually be the negative side.

As you can imagine, this wasn't ideal. Antique Auto Battery is the company who would do this, and as far as I know, they are no longer in business.

Turbo Start is the only company that I am aware of that is making the Autolite batteries. They will not do the reverse posts.

In my opinion, the best alternative is to get a Group 34 battery with a "topper."

To add ,that even if you could get Turbo Start build you a  reverse post on one of their batteries it would still be the 68 style Autolite and not the 65-67 which has a different top and consequently looks wrong on a 65.

My last three Autolite batteries from Battery Central Mall, with Turbostart batteries in them, all lasted right at a year.
