Was hard to take a bad picture of the '65 lineup!

I have to admit I was impressed by the Yenko Stinger display!

....I have more photos to post but they are not Shelby specific,....lot's more of the Yenko Stinger display as I had a Stinger in the display.   For what it is worth to you Shelby guys,.in the photo above is of Warren Dernoshek – Warren began his automotive career like many young men in the 50s; modifying and rebuilding his street car to maximize performance and speed.

He started working for Yenko Chevrolet in Canonsburg PA in the 1960's. Warren was an integral part of Yenko Sports Cars; building the Yenko Stinger Corvairs, the Yenko Camaro's, Chevelle's and working on the race team. While with Yenko, Warren won (as part of the team) the 24 hrs of Daytona, 12 hrs of Sebring, 6 hrs of the Glen and the Citrus 250 at Daytona amongst other races.

It was great to meet one of racing histories true gentlemen, he helped build the 100 Yenko Stingers for SCCA racing in 1966..(in less than 60 days) and is a super nice guy, with real racing credentials.

I also met Peter Brock at MCACN and had a quick word with him, "I told him I'm not worthy in "Waynes World style" and he laughed hard got an autograph and a thumbs up with my Stinger.

If any of you are interested in "Muscle Cars" from the 60's-70's I recommend you go to MCACN at least once in your life.

I agree with you completely.  The 1965 Shebly lineup was IMPRESSIVE.  I stood and looked at the 65 Shelbys for about 35 minutes on Friday night, when there was virtually no traffic, amazing cars and great to see them all in one place.

I will say the same for the Yenko Stinger display.  That was the MOST Stingers gathered in one place since production in December`1965.  It will never happen again, once in a life time event.  I trailered my Stinger from Seattle to Chicago 8 day trip...but worth it for sure!  I met so many very interesting people and so many amazing cars!
