Some incredible footage here.

Interesting that the BME Cougars have Magstars on at Tech. but then run Torque Thrusts during the race.

The track is somewhat still there. 15 minutes from my house. lots of broken concrete and glass cover the crumbling pavement
Owned since 1971, NOW DRIVEN OVER 250,000 MILES, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

grandstands were torn down last year after the kicked the squatters out with the illegal junkyard they were running out of the property .
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Phillip,
Great film, thanks for sharing it. Knowing how Bud Moore was, at that point, the Magstars were probably filled with water to make weight (as if that wasn't already a heavy set of wheels..... ::) )
