Yes, the elusive 5R002 I've been wanting to see in the metal for several years now. I did not recognize Vern though.  My first thought seeing the driver was that it looked promising to see younger individuals at such an event.

Not my vids though I thought of driving over on Thursday evening to take my own videos since the place is like 15 miles from my house, but I had no credentials and no doubt would have been forcibly ejected.  I was thrown out of a Rolls Royce convention in Oakbrook, IL once.  Why would this be any different.

Absolutely gutted that I flew into Chicago on Sunday evening not knowing this event was on. Opportunities to see a real R are severely limited for anyone let alone someone living in Australia!!

The show ended at 17:00 (5pm) on Sunday so depending on what time in the evening you arrived, it would not have been viable (though the airport is probably around 3 or 4 miles from the convention center).
