Has anyone been able to source the power steering ram clamp? Is there an acceptable replacement that meets D2 standards? Or has anyone been able to reproduce?

There were two types of clamps used to hold the pressure and return line at the control valve together in 67. The early style up until about jan -feb of 1967 was the crimp tighten style and the later was the conventional worm drive clamp. If you need the the crimp style used ones are a iffy option given they typically break if trying to reuse them I think I might have a unused one left and if you need the worm drive style Ed has posted that he has some. if you are talking about the clamp that holds the boot on the ram then I believe NPD sells those. I hope this helps.

I have both type  original clamps that can be used over again.

Would the worm drive style clamp have a Ford in oval marking typically?  My Feb 67 has such a clamp and I have wondered about its originality.

Opinions vary but have seen several original PS set ups as late as May with the ladder style

I have found the screw drive /worm drive clamps to not always to have the Ford trademark although they typically have the MFG name.

Ed, I PMed you about the ladder ones.

I believe the NPD catalog has the worm type that fits.  Has the Fomoco stamp on it.
