It is with great sadness that I announce George from Perogie Enterprises has passed away.

George fought a valiant battle with the cancer he faced but succumbed today. Take solace he is no longer in pain and is in a better place.   

George, his brother Randy, John plus the entire family have been a hinge pin and bedrock of the Mustang passion we all share.

George with his smile, wit and extreme passion and knowledge for hobby and business will forever be present.

God speed George. Be well.

As I know arrangements I will include in this thread.

I spent many a day poking around their place, first back when it was the chicken coop filled with god knows what, then after the fire, to the not so distant past when the warehouse was first being build. Was always a once a year stop when I was working on things. A sad day for the hobby........

George was a lot of fun to talk to always took time out at swap meets to talk about parts finds as he was a founding father in the ford parts world from way back in early 80s when i first meet him.RIP George you will be surely missed.

George and I did speak over the phone and I did purchased a few parts from him.

Sorry to hear this. I used to be right next to the Porupski brothers at All Ford Carlisle maybe 20 years ago. Been to their business in New Jersey multiple times. A loss we will not get over.

His loss is a true sign of the changing of the guard so to speak. He truly was an original in the hobby and his efforts provided a great living for him and his family. and a great source of parts for those who needed them.

I was there on Saturday. Definitely a remembrance. And so many faces from long in the past! They have ties way back to the beginnings of most of our Shelby involvement.

I was there as well. Quite a turnout for Big George. I saw people I hadn't seen in 40 years and others that I see on a regular basis. The Celibration of Life was exactly what he wanted. A fairly large assortment of classic cars (mostly Ford) were in attendance, which was appropreate concidering that cars were pretty much George's whole life.

I'm going to miss him very much, he was my friend for 45 years. Godspeed, George, Godspeed.
