*Update:
I ordered a copy from the author yesterday so I could get a signed copy.  The author contacted me later in the day and said there is a delay from the publisher and I will not get my copy until the end of November (Not a problem to me, I thanked him for being forthcoming about the unexpected delay and look forward to my signed copy when it comes.).  Due to the delay he put his site (posted above) on pause until this delay is over.

One error I noted started on page 68 on the cowl mounted rear view mirror. These errors or miss quotes might be blamed on the publisher. Unfortunately these "printing errors" will live on forever and confuse Cobra enthusiasts.

I asked Bob about a book addressing the later Cobras. He said it took him decades to write the first one and now being much older he said he didn't have enough lifetime left to write that one.
I think he was serious.
No two Cobras were likely exactly the same regarding parts. Variations in suppliers, stock in and stock out, cost availability and other things all played a role.
"Most common" may be the best description of many parts.

I hope he covered Ed Hugus' role and how fast CS was willing to throw him under the bus when the big checks from Ford started showing up.

Roughly one-third of the book is devoted to Ed's role in the construction of those first production Cobras, the problems that forced Hugus to break off relations with Shelby and cease construction, the development of the Cobra Hugus set up to drive at Le Mans in 1963, and the race itself.
