This Shelby GT 350 Barn Find is an amazing piece of Galpin History.

Delivered to Galpin from @shelbyamerican in 1965, a dealership swap sent it north to another dealer where it was sold to its first owner.

After putting about 44,000 miles on the odometer the owner parked it in a garage where it sat for decades before finally deciding to sell.

Our President @beauboeckmann made sure that this special Shelby made its way home to Galpin at a @barrett_jackson auction in 2012.

This GT 350 is on display here in its original condition @galpinmotors What an amazing piece of Galpin history!

It is what it is but I am glad that they dropped the all original hype on the car like when it was being auctioned. I was at the auction. I looked at the car hard and lets just say it was highly fiddled with.

That's one way to put it, still a nice foundation to build on if owner choose that route . Plus the auction itself.  Got an opportunity to crawl around and under it once they put it on the show room/museum floor after they got it there in 2012

Thanks, guys, for helping get the info out.  As I reiterate, I was not aware that Instagram was so stringent.  To be forced to join in order to view Instagram content must have some insidious purpose behind it, Instagram being owned by Facebook.

I forgot about the auction . That thing hammered in what seemed like 60 seconds. At the time myself and others thought hmmmmn??
