Must be a huge lunch box to fit a hood in it...  :o

All accounting/receiving smoke and mirrors. Just in time parts - we're going to build 100 cars. Parts for 105 show up - the 5 extra get marked as bad to be returned to supplier. The return address gets switched and they go to your ebay connection.

The lore from the 60s is something like: if it fits in a manila envelope, then gate security would let it pass through.
Legend goes on that a manila envelope was taped to a hood, or a fender, and they let it pass.
