Big Block, 4 speed, nice resto should hit $185-195 nice car

Yup !

Coralsnake

Interesting car, but also perplexed why you don't put the staggered shocks back in it?

Yes that is it in the trunk. That is really telling that whoever worked on it and put it together didn't know how to do it right.

Looks like the prophet was extremely close on the selling price

Car sells at $181,000 cash money

The anemic small blocks should be in the $75 to $125 price range

Exceptions a super duper clean trailer queen completley restored to concours level or an all original paint, interior, drive train one owner car under 20,000 miles

The market has spoken

Yeah Loocho the BAT buyer knew a lot about the car going back 25 years ago when his dad rebuilt drivetrain and  he knew about shifter and the vert plate missing under the car BUT after auction was over he went full disclosure saying he was Les Carpool so he played that out perfectly as i was watching wondering how this guy knew so much about the car and even knew the block was changed so i am glad he got his old car back. He is going to try and have the shelby at his wine and car show event in sebastpool in june so that would be kool. I wonder why the staggered shock was removed as the shock plate would have to be changed out to do this as the upper shock hole was open yet when that car was built but shortly after this car was built ford started welding a round plug in the upper shock mount hole on staggered shock 4 speed cars so you couldnt mount the lh shock in front of axle. The staggered shock was an improvement on 4-speed performance cars so why not use it?
