Quote from: aj on July 10, 2026, 11:00:06 PMContinuing this thread with my recent experience ordering a G27 battery from Battery Mall Central for my 70 GT500

Ordered battery mid-march
Very little post-order communication from vendor.
No response to email requests for update, eta, etc.
Received battery july 9

Battery measured 0 volts out of the box as delivered.  Charged with AGM charger for several days but max voltage is 4.2

undecided on next step if battery never takes a charge. Doubt Ill pursue a warranty claim based on experiences of others.  Debating whether to monkey around with cutting open case bottom and replaing inner battery versus just using the dead new battery as for shows.

If it wasn't fully charged when you got it than it is already a dead soldier. I would try to get a refund .  Don't monkey around with it until you get a determination from the credit card company. The seller may not want it back. You should be able to dispute it on your credit card. It is against the law to charge you until it ships. The credit card company should get involved if they pulled that s#!t . Keep your proof of when it arrived or shipped.
