Very interesting. So would a dating check list include an anatomical/weight estimation dependent on hood correction?

I think they called in MAMA CASS for some 1966 and 1967 hood straightening, maybe thats why the hoods seemingly got better into the mid to late 60s. Had enough push from the TUSH!

The MC method might have required the light Shelby hood spring replacement to standard Mustang or Galaxy 500 hood springs to get it back open. Not sure.
